UK’s Son of Kick releases a new single ‘Reloaded’ out now on SMOG Records. Described by Mixmag as “a deep, dark, trap-inspired track that is full of space and humming bouts of bass,” “Reloaded” features the stunning vocals of Jenna G; check out the exclusive premiere here! A bonus version of “Reloaded” features the lyrics of UK vocalist Marger to keep things extra grimey. The final addition to the package is a jackin’ house remix from AC Slater that is guaranteed to blow the rave up!
‘Reloaded’ is the second release on SMOG from London-based artist Son of Kick. His debut release ‘EOW’ reached the top ten in the Beatport dubstep charts and featured the vocals of UK grime acts Foreign Beggars and Virus Syndicate. Jenna Gibbons aka Jenna G is a UK-based vocalist that garnered fame by lending her vocals to a number of drum & bass, house, dubstep, and R&B recordings. UK’s Marger is at the forefront of a new wave of young MCs bringing back the authentic underground sound of grime. LA-based producer AC Slater has made a lengthy career for himself by fusing elements of house music with the dirty bass lines of UK garage and drum & bass and sprinkles of old-school rave synths and breaks. He is best known as a founding member of the record label Trouble & Bass and his own label Party Like Us Records.
